Inspired By Challenge Time to Bake

Inspired By

Time to Bake!

Why in the world would I choose a chicken and eggs for this challenge? Well, quite simple. I love to bake and use eggs with a lot of those recipes. This spring we decided to start raising chickens for eggs. They've been fun and Egg-citing for my children!

Tbis is Phoenix, my son's favorite hen! She's my favorite too! So sweet, gentle and she gives me an egg every day.

I had asked my son to go grab some pine shavings from the garage that we use for coop bedding. He did and he threw them right onto my crafting desk. Yeppers...

After picking a few tiny pieces and ashering them to the card I had quite a mess to clean up.

Inspired By Fall Picnic

Inspired By Fall Picnic

My favorite time of year is right around the corner! Apple cider from our local farm, Fifers, is to die for. Worth every penny of that $8 a gallon.

After a day of apple picking grab a Cuppa Comfort filled with cider and a warm plaid flannel fringed blanket.

Wings

I have this wonderful memory of my daughter as a 1 year old in a butterfly conservatory in Arizona. She had the most wonderful time chasing them yet never catching one. This project was inspired by her.

My little butterfly!

I've been stuck on kraft paper lately. I can't help myself; it Just makes these butterflies stamped with ink and colored with prismas from Unity's Aug 2016 SMAK kit pop. These guys are thirsty so I added some Nuvo dew drops for them.

This little guy let me take his pic in the conservatory.

Wink of Stella brushed on their wings reminded me of the powder I was told as a child never to touch. Did you know that the powder on butterfly and moth wings is actually made up of tiny scales?! Crazy right?!
The stitched border surrounding these jurassic insects is hand drawn because I'm kinda lazy when it comes to setting up my sewing machine.

This next little tag project began because I was stuck on Angie girls one night...

Crystal O. Minkler jokingly suggested that I add wings to one....so here is my flying fairy Angie girl!

This Unity tag was the perfect size for this lovely lady named Violet girl. The butterfly I received in a grab bag recently and is colored with prismas as well.

Keep on fluttering from blog to blog! Keep your antennas alert for giveaways!
